Received a Fly Fishing gift voucher for my birthday. Had a wonderful day with Tim at Chigborough. Tim is an excellent coach and international standard angler. Caught four lovely fish on a bright sunny, but hard day. I would highly recommend Tim to anyone interested in fly fishing.Thank you once again. Mark😃

What a day. My Dad and I went fly fisher for the first time. Tim organised our day perfectly. From first contact via telephone the training and fishing he was a true professional.
We have had a great day and Tim made it enjoyable, relaxed and entertaining. Would highly recommend and we will definitely book another session. Thank you Tim.

Had a fantastic day out with Tim yesterday and can’t recommend him highly enough. Extremely knowledgeable, a great instructor and an all round nice guy (not to mention 4 England International Fly fishing caps). It was a pleasure spending the day on the bank with him and he personally made the day what it was. We caught plenty of fish, learned a lot about the art of flying fishing including casting, baits, water craft, fish behaviours, how the weather effects the fishing and so much more. Anyone wanting to try fly fishing for the first time or improve Tim is 100% the guy to speak too. 10/10!!!!

A great half day with Tim today, never tried fly fishing before as it looks too difficult. Tim made it very easy and has got me hooked even before we started catching. A great way to finish the day with a self caught rainbow trout cooked on the BBQ. Thanks Tim.

Thoroughly enjoyed the half day learning how to cast and then actually fishing. Tim is obviously very knowledgeable and clearly loves what he does, which made taking direction from him enjoyable and easy. We will definitely be fly fishing again very soon. Totally hooked!

Spent a day fishing with Tim as a complete novice and can’t recommend him enough, not only is he patient but he has a wealth of knowledge that he doesn’t mind sharing which helps you get the most from your day and ultimately enables you to get on the fish. I will definitely be booking more days with Tim to improve my knowledge and technique. Thanks Tim!!

Today I was lucky enough to have a half day experience with Tim as a beginner. He manage to book me in very short notice and was very accommodating. He is an excellent tutor with a wealth of experience, his passion just shining through. He is a very friendly gentleman with a lot of patience.. unfortunately we didnt catch anything today but I will be sure to book in with Tim again!!

Tim I’ve been fishing for over 62 years courses fishing pleasure and match fishing and winter league. sat behind top international Anglers Ivan Marks Bob Nudd and many more just to try to improve & learn .This is now my second season trout fishing you have learnt me so much in these outings your knowledge, skill , patience and Tutorial is second to none even when I ask loads of questions why what’s this for etc ,etc you always have time to explain in the right manner for me to understand also your a top angler and a bloody nice bloke looking forward to our next trip out . After a long break from Fly Fishing (only 19years!) I decided to start again last year and although I could still cast I couldn’t remember any of the techniques / flies to use and completely forgot the topography of the lakes (Chigboro and Hanningfield) where I used to fish.
I found Tim via a web search and have had a couple of coaching sessions with him so far (will not be the last), one at each venue, and in a very short time he got me back up to speed as well and being great company on the bank/boat.
There’s also no criticism of your own rod/lines, or trying to sell you a new rod of any particular brand (that I’ve had from other coaches in the past), just friendly impartial advice. I can’t recommend Tim highly enough, his experience and enthusiasm make a good days fishing into a perfect one.

I’ve been fishing with Tim since the beginning of the year starting as a novice preparing for some upcoming salmon fishing trips. Since I started Tim has taught me more than I could have hoped for and at the same time got me utterly hooked on dry fly fishing. Tim is a super instructor, with a vast knowledge of the sport, and as well as being great company his love of fly fishing is totally infectious. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
