A complete natural with the casting we were soon over on Rook hall where the fish were up and feeding on a buzzer hatch . Poppers and shrimps in a foot of water bought a steady stream of big silver fish to the boat . Duncan hooked a monster brown. Rook hall has suffered a big O2 crash over the last week due to abnormally high water temperatures for November . This has resulted in fish behaving in a stressed way shoaling tight in the margins . Sam and Tad have begun vigorously aerating the lake today with 3 pumps and this has made an immediate impact with the fish starting to settle down . Please take a long handled landing net and take plenty of time to recover your fish until it’s strong enough to swim away . Conditions were far from ideal over the two days with a freezing easterly breeze and low mist . But both guys persevered with shallow fished indicator tactics scoring best on the rook hall rainbows . Home water has just had a double stocking and rook hall is due another top up this week ..
